Join me for coffee and painting events through the Caledonia Resource Center. Each class we'll create fun, unique artworks inspired by the seasons. I'll provide step-by-step instruction to ensure everyone leaves with great memories and a creative artwork.
In Person Fall Classes
Classes are held at the Caledonia Resource Center, Caledonia, MI.
Adult Classes
Watercolor - Tuesdays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. September 16 - October 7th
This is a class designed for those that have some prior experience using watercolor but beginners are also welcome. We'll focus on expanding upon your prior watercolor experience as you work on paintings of your choice each week.
Acrylic Painting- Wednesdays from 6 - 8 p.m. September 3 - 24th
This class is an overview of how to work with acrylic paint as we learn how to blend, shade, mix colors, build up texture, and work with this colorful paint medium.
Coffee and Canvas: Autumn Trees - 9:30 - 11 a.m. on September 8th
Join artist Betsy Wellfare for this step-by-step acrylic painting class working on 9 x 12 inch canvases. All art material will be provided.
Artist Series - Every other week on Fridays 9:30 - 11 a.m.
Join artist Betsy Wellfare for a brief overview of an artist’s life and art, then we’ll explore art making inspired by each class’s artist. All art materials will be provided.
Soft Pastel - Fridays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. October 10th, October 24th
In this class we’ll explore various ways to work with soft pastels. Artist Betsy Wellfare will demonstrate techniques related to your chosen subject matter and tailor the class to student preferences.

Creative Kids Club
Stomping Grounds Play Cafe - 9028 N Rodgers Ct SE Suite E, Caledonia, MI 49316
In these early-childhood art classes, we'll focus on teaching art techniques and skills that help young artists get kindergarten ready while exploring the fun of art making, experimenting, and self-expression. Each class session will be filled with several projects that work on fine motor skills, building confidence, problem solving, and creativity. Classes will be themed around related topics such as the ocean, outer space, on the farm, seasonal, in the sky, and all about bugs. These classes are designed for kids ages 3 - 6.
